Anhui Somet Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. in Wangjiang, Anhui, invested by Zhejiang Yuelong Holding Group Co., Ltd., is a large-scale company focusing on the project of producing viscose staple fibers. The total investment is 1.5 billion yuan, including 1.2 billion yuan fixed assets and about 1500 mu in area. The project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase is 60000 tons in production capacity and 0.5 billion yuan fixed assets, which will be built in Mar., 2008 and start to operate by the end of Mar., 2009; the second phase is 60000 tons in production capacity and 0.7 billion yuan fixed assets, and will be finished till Mar. 2013. The project has passed the assessment on its environmental influence. Now it is under the construction and expected to be built up soon to start its production.
